The Cheapest, Fastest Bathroom remodel

Updated: Jan 7

Remodeling can be expensive, but it doesn't have to be. For those thrifty minded types, heres a few tips to change your bathroom from "meh" to "wow", without costing a fortune.

  1. The number one way to drastically change your bathroom is to replace your vanity cabinet. All the big box stores, (Lowes, Home Depot) and several online merchants (Wayfair, Overstock) offer a wide range of unique and affordable vanity cabinets. They usually are sold with matching countertops too. Which is in itself, a big cost and time saver. Prices start at $100. Thrift stores are another option for the cost-conscious and picker-orientated.

  2. Your new vanity cabinet and countertop wouldn't be complete without a new faucet. These are also widely available in stock at the big hardware stores, online, and thrift stores too. They start at $25

  3. Accessorize. No great outfit is complete without great accessories. Bathrooms are no different. Eclectic, sleek, or classic. Whatever your design motif, adding a framed mirror, new towel bars, shelves, and shower curtains will help complete the look and give you a chance to flex your interior design muscles

  4. Lastly, paint. New wall paint, even if it's the same color will make the room look fresh and clean. So get out the drop clothes and roll up those sleeves.
